Low polygon space ship, I've discovered that soft's polygon modeling tool are preaty sweet, I built this ship in a day and a half. However it realy lacks when it comes to texturing a detailed model.
Fractal planet & clouds - Mental Ray shader based on Ken Musgrave's algorithms

Mental Ray shader: Pseudo Volumetric lights. This shader worked on simple cylinders, You could call this additive transparency when beams overlaped it they would brighten each other and thebackground up. This was a bit simpler the having 40 volumetric tube lights.
